Joe T’s strong finish leaves no doubt who the best Golfer is in 2021.
Joe T, last year’s "Race to Big Y (Dubai)" Champion, understood that the regular-season win and $50.00 were nice, but there were bigger dreams to be had. Joe T’s first goal was to get to the playoffs by being in the top 12 when the regular season ended. He did just that by finishing 11th. Hindsight now being 20 / 20, I see that Joe T was saving something for the push through the Playoffs.
In the first round of the FedUp Cup, the Northern Quilted Championship, Joe T followed his winning plan by finishing 5 out of 12, with a score of 93 to move on to the 2nd Round.
The second round of the FedUp Cup, The AMC Championship, at Southampton County Club, played a little harder than most of the players were ready for. Again, Joe T puts his head down and he goes to work, coming in 3rd out of 8 players to secure his place in the final round of the BJG FedUp Cup.
On Sunday, at 10:50 am at Cold Springs County Club, the drama of the season seemed to stop while the top four Golfers get ready to do battle. I thought this was a good mix of talent, and truth be told, I would not be surprised if any one of them walked away as Champion. The scores were going to be close.

Congratulation to Joe T,
Adam had a nice run in 2021, but he just ran out of gas at the end.
Jake’s 11 sealed his fate and Dave was never able to put anything together to make a run to the top.
A round of applause to Adam, Jake & Dave for making it to the Final Four.
Next up is the President's Cup on Oct 17th. More information will be out next week.

Our final BJG event of the year, the Winter Classic Championship, and will be played on Halloween, Oct 31st, where Rey will be going for a 3peat.
