According to Wikipedia, The Ides of March was also the occasion of the Feast of Anna Pernna, a goddess of the year (Latin annus) whose festival originally concluded the ceremonies of the new year. The day was enthusiastically celebrated among the common people with picnics, drinking, and revelry. 

For us, the “New Year” starts at the BJG Winter Meeting with pizza, soda, water, and information.

We will start with a 30-minute Meet and Greet.  This is important because in 2024 we will have EIGHT new members. 

Next, we will roll into the 2023 BJG Awards.  The awards are:

Attendance at the 2024 Winter Meeting will earn you 5 Fed Up Cup Points, but I have to be there for the whole meeting.

I know that Rey and James will not be in attendance and that Joe T will need to leave early.
