Merry Christmas

And its that time of year again when you get your Christmas presents from Broken Joe Santa.

Cody – Perseverance – You are going to need it after playing as well as you did in 2020.

Dave – Hard Work – 2020 was disappointing year especially after coming off a great 2019 season. Winning used to be easy for you but you will need to put in the work to catch Cody.

Jake – Competitive Edge – As one of the top four BJG golfers, Jake has yet to have his “breakout year”. With more members joining BJG each year, the competition will only get harder.

Bryan – Availability – Despite good finishes in the regular season, Bryan has never played in the Fed Up Cup, which means some of you owe Bryan a Christmas card.

Harry – Camaraderie – Harry disapears so fast after golf, I am starting to think he doesn't like you guys.

Joe – Longevity – Joe had an ugly year and he is getting older. Just how long can he hold on...?

Joe Willie – Momentum - Joe Willie has not played golf this well since 2017, and all it took was a worldwide pandemic.

Rock – Focus – Rock had a mediocre year finishing right in the middle. Of course, it could have had to do with the 3 added strokes he was given in 2020.

Rey – Quickness –Rey needs a better start at the beginning of the season. This should help for a better finish at the end of the season. Of course, not missing a major usually helps.

Chris – Enthusiasm – Believe it or not, Chris used to be a good golfer and was always competitive. Somehow over the last couple of years he has lost his enthusiasm for the competition at BJG. Maybe his new minus handicap will help.

Steve – An assistant – Steve continues to get better each year. What Steve really needs is help with is his calendar.

Dan – Practice – Dan did not have a great year but who knows what could happen with a little practice. There's always next year, right?

Juan – Consistency– I don’t know that I have ever seen anyone go from a score of 124 at the Misters to winning the BJG Championship with a score of 91.

Adam – Persistence – Adam continues to get better year after year. 2021 could finally be the year he gets his first win.

Nic – Opportunity. The 2021 BJG season will be Nic’s 3rd year with BJG.

It would seem that all of Nic’s dream may come true in the 2021 BJG season if he can get the right BJG handicap, that or play better golf.

Matt – Commitment” – Out of a pandemic reduced seven regular-season rounds, Matt only played in four. Maybe his lack of playing is due to the removal of the "participation trophies" events.

Jon – Hope. Jon is currently our most challenged player, but he is also our favorite playing partner. Jon never allows a bad shot to get him down. At this point, Jon has nowhere to go but up, right? But even Santa's Christmas magic has its limitations.
