Our Second Major, The Fathers and Uncles Invitational

The "Fathers and Uncles Invitational" is usually played on Father’s Day but the last couple of years have not been kind to the married fathers who chose to play golf on Father’s Day. Father’s Day, like Mother’s Day, is now an off week.

This year, the "Fathers and Uncles Invitational" will be held at Agawam Municipal Golf Course on June 28th, 2020.

Joe Willie has a birthday party on Sunday and asked me to move him up to the first tee time. I was happy to help because I, and I’m sure the rest of you, are looking for anything to cool down Joe Willie’s golf game. It should be interesting to see Joe Willie and Bryan compete for the top spot.

On a side note, I am think of we could play the “Championship of the World” on Sunday morning (July 5th) around 9am at Pine Knoll in East Longmeadow. If everyone plays, we will include points; if only some of us can play then we can just play for the Trophy and the “Championship of the World” belt. This event is a fun challenge and we usually have a good time after. Cody is currently the BJG “Champion of the World”. We can talk more on Sunday.
