Congratulations to Cody, Rey, Dan, and Dustin for winning their Divisions at the 2022 Chubby Classic.

Front Nine:

Dude, Where’s My Car Division:

Cody smokes his division by shooting a 39. Jake and Dave are close with a 46 & 47, but they need to step up their game if the don’t want to watch Cody drive a way.

A Few Good Men Division:

Joe T shoots an impressive 46. Joe shoots 48 even after finishing the last 2 holes with a 7 and an 8. Rey gets an early 7 and shoots 49. Rock has a couple of 7s and finishes the front with 52.

Team Mediocrity Division:

Adam takes command of the front with a score of 49. Dan is next with a 55. Matty Ice has a really, really, bad start with 13s on the first two holes and finishes the front with an 80.

Dumpster Fire Division:

EJ and Dustin are playing very well with scores of 50 and 51. Dustin managed a 51 with a 10 on his score card. Jon gets three 9s for 59. Alex brings up the rear with a 66

The front played pretty easy with a group score of 45. The 2nd hole was the hardest, playing at 2.4 stokes over par.

Back Nine:

Dude, Where’s My Car Division:

Cody continues his dominance by shot 38. Dave shoots a 50 and Jake brings it home with a big 56.

A Few Good Men Division:

Rey tames the back nine with a 50. Joe T gets his own 10 and shoots 54. Rock gets another pair of 7s to go with his 8 and he scores a 55. The wheel started falling off Joe’s game on the 8th and 9th hole and it only got worst with his three 8s and 9 for score of 60. WOW, is this the same game that shot a 90 at Agawam?

Team Mediocrity Division:

Dan has a good back nine to match is front nine with a score of 54. Adam falls of the pace and shoots 63. Matty Ice fixes his terrible start and finishes the back with a 65.

Dumpster Fire Division:

Dustin dominates the back with a 56 with Alex trying to keep it close with his 60. Jon shoots 68 and EJ comes limping home with a 71.

The back, for most of us, was much harder, averaging a group score of 50. The 11th & 18th hole played a whooping 3.4 over par.

BJG National Golf League Points

Dude, Where’s My Car Division:

1st Place: Jake – 16 points

2nd Place: Cody – 14 points

3rd Place: Bryan – 10 points

3rd Place: Dave – 10 points

Jake still holds the lead, but Cody is coming to the front fast. Bryan and Dave need a win to get back into the mix.

A Few Good Men Division:

1st Place: Joe – 12 points

1st Place: Joe T – 12 points

3rd Place: Rey – 11 points

4th Place: Rock – 10 points

Things sure did get tightened up after that round.

Team Mediocrity Division

1st Place: Adam – 14 points

2nd Place: Dan – 13 points

3rd Place: Matty Ice – 11 points

4th Place: Juan – 5 points

This is another Division were things got tightened up. Juan is in free fall, heading towards rock bottom.

Dumpster Fire Division

1st Place: Dustin – 18 points

2nd Place: Alex 13 points

3rd Place: EJ – 12 points

4th Place: Jon – 9 points

Dustin has his 2nd win and is starting to pull away. Jon is going to need to play better golf if he wants to stay in the fight.

Cody also won the "Longest Drive" and no one won the "Closest to the Pin". That means the "Closets to the Pin" money will now be worth double.

We, as a group, welcomed our guest, Jason, to BJG. Jason shot 89 on Sunday and 93 on Friday.

There will be no rest for the weary as we head to Mill Valley (the hardest golf course in Western MA) for our first Major, The Misters. The Misters will be played next Sunday, May 22nd.

DON"T FORGET TO BRING THE DIVISONAL TROPHIES !!!!!

Respectfully,

Broken Joe

Commissioner
