Southampton CC, September 19th, 2021

We will all be back together on September 19th at Southampton County Club.

We have the 2nd Round of the BJG FedUp Cup Playoffs, "The AMC Championship", "The Legends of Tomorrow, Losers of Today" AND "The Lonesome Loser". That is a lot of things going on in one day.

The AMC Championship (Top 8)

The AMC Championship is the 2nd Round of the BJG FedUp Cup Playoffs.

Our “Great Eight” have all come to the 2nd round from different paths.

Cody and Joe have come from the top of the leaderboard during the regular season and good score during the first round.

Adam had a good year and was near the top of the leaderboard at the end of the regular season. But Adam had to beat Dave in a Putt Off to secure his place in the 2nd round.

Joe T and Rey are all that’s left from the middle of the pack from the regular season leaderboard. Joe T and Rey also had good scores for the first round.

EJ, a first-time Golfer and a rookie at BJG, finished 11th during the regular season to make the Playoffs and then won the 1st round of the FedUp Cup Playoffs.

Jake and Dan were at the right place at the right time to make the final 12 and then played themselves into the 2nd round. They are “just happy to be here.”

Legend of Tomorrow, Losers of Today (The Race for 9th place) (9-15)

This year we have an exciting cast of characters playing in this event.

Bryan, Rock and Juan, all made it to the Playoffs but could not make the schedule work, and are now left fighting for that 9th spot, maybe.

Matty Ice, Dave, and Jon had a good run but were eliminated after the first round of the playoffs. All three are now looking at to finish in 9th place or worst.

Tim had a pretty good year, but his lack of commitment to the schedule was what brought him to the fight for 9th place.

The Lonesome Loser (16-18)

The Lonesome Loser is a new event for 2021, and it is the fight for the last place.

Nic, Dustin, and Matt T will be battling NOT to be last. This match-up should be great.

Nic , and Matt T both missed six weeks of the BJG schedule. Dustin was just a victim of a terrible handicap (my bad), but we will fix that in 2022.

To add to the drama, I am putting Alex, another brand new Golfer and a new member of BJG in 2022 ,in into the mix.

Yes, I know the tee times are early, but it was this or after 11am. These times should get you home for football.
