The 2020 Pretenders

Each year, for “The Pretenders”, I like to write about who each golfer is pretending to be but this year is different. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had pretty much pushed the pause button on each of our daily lives, including the BJG season.

Whether we know it or not, the pandemic has affected us at work, at home, and from what I saw at the Misters, your golf game.

This year “The Pretenders” will be played at Agawam Municipal Golf Course on June 14th, 2020.

Tee Times and Groups:

Group One – 9:04

Group Two – 9:12

Group Three – 9:20

Past Pretending Champions are: Jake in 2017, Chris in 2018 and Bryan in 2019.

Some of you are pretending that toilet paper is a lifesaving necessity, some of you are pretending that you weren’t social distancing long before the government told you to, some of you are drinking 24/7 and using the pandemic as the reason, and some of you are still pretending to wash your hands after you take a piss. Yes, even at our age, we are all still pretending about something.
