The 2023 American Freedom Open

The "American Freedom Open" is our 3rd Major. It is our most patriotic event and is played near our Nation's Independents Day.

This Major will be played at Veterans Golf Course, in honor of the men and women who have served and continue to serve our great Country.

This Major is worth 180 Points and will be grouped by the Leaderboard

Don't forget, two balls have to go into the water before you can move to the BJG Drop Zone. A BJG Drop Zones will be located at the 7th, 9th, and 18th holes with a white flag.

The first Closest to the Pin is on the Par 3, 7th Hole, and the second Closest to the Pin will be on the Par 3, 15th Hole.

Weather: Right now it looks like rain from Friday to at least Tuesday. As of this morning's weather report, there is a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday with showers on Sunday night. Of course, it is only Thursday and the weather can change.

As an FYI, I tried to play Vets at 7:30 am last Sunday, but they were not letting any carts out. In fact, they did not let carts out last Saturday until after 12 pm.

Please let me know if you are NOT playing on Sunday.
