The Travelers Championship is a professional golf tournament on th

ree

Since 1984, the tournament has been held at TPC River Highlands. It is managed by The Greater Hartford Community Foundation.

ree

In 2018 the Travelers Championship earned the Players Choice Award for the second consecutive year, which is voted on by PGA Tour members for its services, hospitality, attendance, and quality of the course.

More importantly, this is the only PGA event in New England, which does make it kind of special for us here in Massachusetts.

ree

In fact, if you look closely at the Practice Range at TPC River Highlands, you might just glimpse our very own Adam "Hole In One" Turner.

Of course, Broken Joe Golf’s version is just a bit off, which would mean that we will be playing the “Time Travelers Championship”.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Time Travel to the Past is called Retrocognition? Retrocognition (also known as postcognition or hindsight), from the Latin retro meaning "backward, behind" and cognition meaning "knowing", describes "knowledge of a past event which could not have been learned or inferred by normal means". The term was coined by Frederic W. H. Myers.

The 2023 Time Travelers will be played on 6/25/23 at Airways Golf Course 1070 S. Grand St, West Suffield, CT 06093.

Fun Fact 2: Did you know that Time Travel to the Future is called Precognition?

Cody is the 2022 Time Traveler's Champion and will lead us off the first tee.

The first “Closest to the Pin” is the 7th Hole, Par 3 (156 yards). This hole is worth $40.00 as it is a carryover from Wintonbury Hills.

The second “Closest to the Pin” is the 10th Hole, Par 3 (163 yards).

I hope you enjoyed Father's Day and now it's time to get back to golf.

I will see you on Sunday.

Respectfully,
