The Travelers Championship is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in Cromwell, CT, a suburb of Hartford.

The tournament has been held at TPC River Highlands since 1984 and is managed by the Greater Hartford Community Foundation.
In 2018, the Travelers Championship earned the Players Choice Award for the second consecutive year. This award is voted on by PGA Tour members for its services, hospitality, attendance, and quality of the course.

More importantly, this is the only PGA event in New England, which makes it special for us in Western Massachusetts.
Of course, Broken Joe Golf’s version is just a bit off, which would mean that we will be playing the “Time Travelers Championship”.
Fun Fact: Did you know that Time Travel to the Past is called Retrocognition? Retrocognition (also known as post cognition or hindsight), from the Latin retro meaning "backward, behind" and cognition meaning "knowing," describes "knowledge of a past event which could not have been learned or inferred by normal means." The term was coined by Frederic W. H. Myers.
The 2024 Time Travelers will be played on 6/23/23 at Airways Golf Course, 1070 S Grand St, West Suffield, CT, about 30 minutes north of Cromwell. The cost is $27 without a cart and $40 with a cart.
Yes, the plan was to play at Tekoa Country Club, but the guy on the phone would not even talk about Tee Times until Tuesday. I wasn't going to wait until Tuesday to get 11:30ish tee times.
Besides, the Time Travelers should be played in CT, just like the Travelers Championship.
Fun Fact 2: Did you know that Time Travel to the Future is called Precognition?

The Time Travelers is worth a total of 91 Points, with first place receiving 13 Points and last place receiving just 1 Point.

Weather: Right now, it looks like it will be hot and wet, but we still have a few days to get a better forecast.
I hope you enjoyed the Father's Day weekend because now it's time to get back to golf.
Please check your calendars and let me know if you are NOT playing on Sunday.
Respectfully,
Broken Joe
