The BJG TOUR Championship

We have finally whittled our way down from 17 Golfers to the best of the best, our top four Golfers. The Tour Championship will be played on Sept 13th, 2020 at Chicopee Country Club.

Big Poppa

Cody has to be the favorite at this point, I mean the man shoots a 74 and then shot 79… twice. That’s almost as good as Tiger Wood’s average at the 2020 BMW Championship.

Cody is on a tear and I am sure that there is nothing more that he wants than to win this last big trophy before his handicap goes up in 2021. Cody has been working hard and is truly "playing better golf”.

Harry Houdini (because the way he disappears after golf)

Harry is probably the 2nd favorite. Harry has been playing most of his rounds in the 90s and only a couple of rounds in the triple digits.

I may have been too fast with the “Superman” comparison because the more I think about it, Harry’s two iron is probably more like Thor’s Hammer, Mjolnir. Like Thor, Harry may only really have one club in his arsenal. Either way, If Harry wants to beat Cody, he is going to need more than just his 2 iron.

Broken Joe

Joe had an awful year in 2019 trying control his new driver. Disappointment quickly followed when Joe missed the final four cut and Dan took the final spot in last year's Tour Championship.

Joe played the 2020 regular season well enough to finish 3rd and he does have a Major win (Misters) but, Joe has not been having much luck in the playoffs and is just barely keeping his head above water.

Yet Joe still believes that it his DESTINY to win at Chicopee even though he still has some mental scarring from his first trip to Chciopee many years ago. Stop laughing Chris.

Teflon Dave

In 2012 and 2013, when it came to golf, Dave was the MAN. In 2019, Dave won two Majors and the Race to Big Y (Dubai). But in 2020 Dave has not won anything and he finished 6th in the points. Dave, with his handicap, has an average score of 101. I think that one extra stroke that was added to his 2020 handicap really screwed him up.

Of course, this how Dave made it to the Finals

On a positive note, Dave shot a 77 on 8/31/2020. Of course, without any BJG members to witness it, did it really happen?
