The Chose FORE (Team Alternate Shots)

The Chosen Fore (Non-BJG Event) will be played on Sunday, July 10th, 2022 at Veterans Golf Course in Springfield.

The Alternate Shot format is probably the most challenging tournament there is. You want/need to play good golf for your partner, and your partner has the exact same goal. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it does not. All anyone can ask is that you do your best.

You also have the added pressure of maintaining your cool and composure. It does not do anyone any good to whine and complain. I challenge you to be better than that. I challenge you and your partner to never give up, and to fight for each and every shot.

Groups & Teams (Team Handicaps)

Group One - 9:08

Cart 1 – Joe & Rock (+2)

Cart 2 – Joe T & Rey (+2)

Group Two – 9:14

Cart 3 – Jason & Juan (0)

Cart 4 – Jake & Dustin (-2)

Group Three – 9:20

Cart 5 – Dave & EJ (-6)

Cart 6 – Bryan & Alex (-9)

Each golfer will hit alternating shots starting at the Tee Box. First Golfer will always tee off on the odd number holes and the Second Golfer will always tee off on the even number holes. After the tee shot you will alternate shots until the golf ball goes into the cup, including any lost tee shots.

All BJG rules will apply.

Closest to the Pin – Hole 7. Longest Drive – Hole 17. Everyone gets a chance to play Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, but you will play the correct ball after your shot. BJG will once again provide $20 for the Closest to the Pin and $20 for the Longest Drive winners.

The cost to play is $10 (Cash) per person and we be given to Joe T. The team with the lowest handicap score will win it all.

If your teammate bails on you or does not show up, you are no longer in the competition. Sorry but that is the way it has to be.
