Welcome to the BJG Fed Up Cup Playoffs

The first cut is the deepest and, for those five golfers that missed the cut, the most painful.

For the rest of you winners, Congratulation and Welcome to the BJG Fed Up Cup Playoffs.

The PGA has the "Norhern Trust" as their first round of the Fed Ex Cup. Here at BJG, we have the "Quilted Northern" as our first round of the Fed Up Cup because in 2020, toilet paper was worth more than gold. Round One will be played on Aug 23rd, 2020 at Southampton County Club in Southampton.

And new for 2020, we have trophies for the 1st and 2nd Round Fed Up Cup winners.

I have randomly drawn names for Groupings.

Group One: 8:30

Dave, Chris, Bryan, & Dan

Group Two: 8:40

Joe Willie, Joe, Harry & Rey

Group Three: 8:50

Rock, Juan, Adam & Cody

Group Four: 9:00

Steve, Nic, & Matt

Yes Juan, you read that right. At the last minute, Jake, our 2019 BJG Fed Up Cup Champion, found out that he cannot play and that means Juan is moving on up.

Things are getting more and more interesting every day. Bye Bye Jake and Welcome Back Juan. Nic, don't lose hope, you could be next.

When I asked Jon if he was playing this Sunday, he asked if it was for points. Obviously, he has not been paying much attention but then he said ....

Just to make things clear, in order to make it to the second round, you will need to finish in the top 8 or you will be cut. The 2nd Round is the following Sunday, Aug 30th, 2020. No off week this time.

The good news is that if you miss this cut, you can join the other losers for the “Legends of Tomorrow (Losers of Today) – Battle for 9th Place, which is the same date and location as the 2nd Round of the Fed Up Cup.

Don't forget that we will be awarding Joe Willie the "Big Check" for winning the Race to Big Y (Dubai) at 8:10 at Southampton CC.
