In 2015, Broken Joe Golf added the Fathers and Uncles Invitational as our 2nd Major Championship. The problem was that our 3rd Major Championship, the American Freedom Open, left us with only one event between the two Majors. In 2025, I decided to try to space the Majors out evenly. On May 17th, 2025, we will play our version of “The Players Championship,” which we call The PRETENDERS Championship. The Pretenders Championship will be held at Gillette Ridge Golf Course, 1360 Hall Blvd, Bloomfield, CT 06002. I chose Gillette Ridge because everyone enjoyed the course and wanted a second chance.
